The "Junma" series "Ruijiang" brand river ADCP produced by RDI Corporation in the United States is the third-generation acoustic Doppler river flow measurement system of RDI Corporation.

(1) We have adopted RDI's patented broadband signal processing technology. The application of this technology improves the spatial and temporal resolution of flow velocity measurement while ensuring accuracy.

(2) The depth range of the measurement profile is large. For example, a 600 kHz ADCP can measure profile depths ranging from 0.7 meters to 75 meters (note: profile depth is related to sediment concentration and unit length). This 600 kHz ADCP can be applied to the depth conditions of most rivers.

(3) It is suitable for rivers with higher sediment content. High sediment content means that the absorption of sound energy by the water body is enhanced. At this point, a lower frequency system is required to achieve greater profile depth and maintain bottom tracking. However, generally low-frequency systems have lower resolution. Due to the use of patented broadband signal processing technology, systems with lower RDI frequencies (600kHz and 300 kHz) have better penetration and higher resolution at higher sediment concentrations.

(4) The "Ruijiang" 1200 kHz and 600 kHz ADCP have two working modes: standard working mode and shallow water working mode. The standard working mode has a wide range of adaptability and is applied in most situations. However, in situations where the water is shallow and the flow rate is low, using shallow water working mode can effectively improve measurement accuracy. (5) Recently, RDI company developed the "zero blind spot" technology, which was first applied to 1200kHz ADCP. Therefore, the "Ruijiang" 1200 kHz ADCP can be used for shallower and deeper rivers and lakes.
